Those tactics, although dependent, have a tendency to limit students’ motivation, active participation and communicative capacity in their gaining knowledge of surroundings. Confronted with problem, using video games emerges as a progressive alternative that promotes significant, contextual, and motivating language mastering. This study used a qualitative and phenomenological research method with eight students from the Unidad Educativa Eloy Velasquez Cevallos as a sample.
