This research paper has been done through an analytical and critical process,
whose main objective is to reinforce the English vocabulary through enhancement
activities at Unidad Educativa “Carrera Sánchez Bruno” to eighth grade students.
This research involved to the principal of the institution, teachers, students and a
specialist through surveys and interview. Furthermore, a diagnostic test was taken
in order to know the vocabulary level of the eighth grade students, during the
implementation of the proposal, a series of activities were developed to increase
English vocabulary. The participants of quantitative study, young language
learners, were observed in the educational atmosphere, while the data was
gathered from observations and interviews. English Vocabulary is essential tool
which could be developed through activities which promote its improvement.
Through the implementation of enhancement activities students had an active
participation in the classroom providing them opportunities to improve their
vocabulary with a supplementary and high beneficial resource. Results showed
that students increased their English vocabulary after implementing enhancement
activities. In consequence, it is recommended that Unidad Educativa “Carrera
Sánchez Bruno” private school use it as an extra resource.
