dc.description.abstract This research was conducted in the educational context of ing. Sixto Chang Cansing School help to improve the English language teaching and learning process. The fourth graders had a low vocabulary level due to inadequate teaching methods. According to the data obtained through the quantitative research instrument, teachers preferred to use traditional teaching methods such as translation or direct methods, which are not suitable for teaching children. In order to change this situation from the professional point of view, a didactic guide was elaborated based on a method that considers the age and needs of the students as the most appropriate solution. The method chosen to work on this problem was the total physical response method. It combines physical movements and sounds to facilitate vocabulary memorization in long-term memory. During its application, dynamics and games can be used to learn in a fun and stress-free environment. Furthermore, this approach makes children intrinsically interested, which accelerates the learning process. es
