Abstract: People have been developing studies to know about procedures to follow in the teaching - learning process to the educational community, some of them agree in the significance of applying adequate strategies at the moment to teach a second language. Indeed the present work was focused on the significance of didactic strategies to improve the speaking skills in learners according to their needs and likes. Therefore, the tactics describe in this research paper are the storytelling in order to immerse them and contribute in the accurate development of the speaking area within a good environment. To carry out this research it was fundamental to get data in students from 6 to 7 years of age at Alausí foundation through the application of an interview and a survey. Besides, the results contributed to the proposal, it contains six stories with seven activities to reinforce the previous knowledge over speaking activities which main goal is to enhance students to express their ideas in the classrooms.
