The present work shows the Ecuadorian university system, in order to help understand the beginning of its reforms in relation to the new Constitution and Organic Law of Higher Education, the importance of gratuitousness in this new scenario, as well as the new typologies And constitutional order of creation of new universities to promote scientific research.
El presente trabajo muestra al sistema universitario ecuatoriano, con el fin de ayudar a entender el inicio de sus reformas en relación con la nueva Constitución y Ley Orgánica de Educación Superior, la importancia de la gratuidad en este nuevo escenario, así como también las nuevas tipologías y orden constitucional de creación de nuevas universidades para promover la investigación científica.
