dc.descriptionTourist activity. The relevance study of the Tourism and Hospitality Career at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences of the State University of Bolívar was carried out in 2021-2022, based on the requirement to know the academic training needs of the context for the development of the career. This study aimed to identify educational supply and demand in response to social demands, employer requirements, and current educational expectations, considering two referents: The contextual analysis and the market study. The first one compiled information on the current state of the training of tourism and professionals in the hospitalityl in the country. Including data that motivates the hybrid modality, consistent with the axes of state planning, the development zones of the country, and the prospects for reactivation of the post-Covid-19 tourism in Ecuador. The second analysis allowed the collecting of bibliographic and field information the criteria from the perspective of critical actors graduates of the career as well as the experience of employers.en
dc.descriptionEl estudio de pertinencia de la Carrera Turismo y Hotelería en la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar se realizó en el periodo de 2021-2022, en base al requerimiento de conocer las necesidades de formación académica del contexto para el desarrollo de la actividad turística. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar la oferta y demanda educativa como respuesta a las demandas sociales, los requerimientos de los empleadores y las expectativas educativas actuales; considerando dos referentes: el análisis contextual y el estudio de mercado. El primero, recopiló información sobre el estado actual de la formación de profesionales de turismo y hotelería en el país, incluidos datos que motivan la modalidad híbrida, coherente con los ejes de planificación estatal, las zonas de desarrollo del país y las perspectivas de reactivación del turismo post Covid-19 en el Ecuador. El segundo análisis permitió recopilar información bibliográfica y de campo; así como los criterios desde la perspectiva de actores claves, graduados de la carrera, así como la experiencia de los empleadores.es
