dc.descriptionThe work described shows the results of the evaluation management system, implemented in the Language Center of the Polytechnic School of Agriculture of Manabí. We used the agile SCRUM methodology, which consists of three phases: in the first phase the information was collected and analyzed, the second carried out the development of the sprints and in the third phase tests of the correct operation and implementation in said department. It was used as a Visual Studio 2012 development tool and within it was used the VB.NET programming language, and as a SQL Server database manager system. The system generates the assessments and qualifies them through the Optical Brand Recognition (OMR) that examines the students' responses. The results show that the system allows reducing the time dedicated to these processes.en
dc.descriptionEl trabajo descrito muestra los resultados del sistema de gestión de evaluaciones, implementado en el Centro de Idiomas de la Escuela Superior Politécnica Agropecuaria de Manabí. Se utilizó la metodología ágil SCRUM la cual consta de tres fases: en la primera se realizaron la recolección y análisis de la información, en la segunda se llevó a cabo el desarrollo de los sprints y en la tercera fase pruebas del correcto funcionamiento e implementación en dicho departamento. Se usó como herramienta de desarrollo Visual Studio 2012 y dentro de este se empleó el lenguaje de programación VB.NET, y como sistema gestor de base de datos SQL Server. El sistema genera las evaluaciones y las califica mediante el Reconocimiento Óptico de Marca (OMR) que examina las respuestas de los alumnos. Los resultados muestran que el sistema permite reducir el tiempo dedicado a estos procesos.es
