dc.description.abstract | The relentless advancement of technology has an undeniable impact on every aspect of modern life. Among the latest technological advancements, the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has garnered considerable attention, especially in the field of education. Since early 2023, the younger generation, familiar with this type of software, has widely embraced AI- driven tools, thanks to the pervasive influence of social media. Therefore, the objective of this research project is to explore the advantages and disadvantages of integrating AI into the learning process of teenagers. Using a qualitative research approach, the author aims to gather the opinions and perceptions of students aged 15 to 18 who have used these tools for academic activities. Notably, the research revealed that the most widely used AI software are ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI; and Smodin.IO. Participants praised its efficiency as a search engine, enabling quick access to accurate information compared to conventional web browsers. They stated that the responsible use of AIs provides a solid foundation for mathematics, research, analysis and writing tasks. | es |
