Abstract:
Los ecosistemas acuáticos son de vital importancia siendo una de las áreas más ricas
en producción primaria caracterizándose por la presencia de fitoplancton. La presente
investigación determinó la influencia de factores físicos en la diversidad y abundancia
de diatomeas en el río de Loma Alta en octubre 2023 a febrero 2024. Utilizando la
metodología del raspado en el sustrato rocoso, se recolectaron 20 muestras, en dos
estaciones fijas A: entrada de la unión y B: entrada del suspiro. Se utilizaron los índices
de Shannon- Wiener, Simpson, Pielou. Se obtuvo una diversidad de 2.97 bits como
resultado en el mes de Octubre en la estación A que indica una baja diversidad y en
diciembre una diversidad de 3.70 bits en la Estación B que indica una diversidad alta
de especies de diatomeas. Se registró durante los meses de investigación un total de 47
especies de diatomeas centrales y pennadas entre las más abundantes en las dos
estaciones tenemos: Navícula directa, Cymbella spp, Gomphonema spp, Ulnaria
goulardii, Pleurosigma normanii, Diadesmis spp, Caloneis amphisbaena, Navicula
phyllepta, Pleurosigma angulatum, Pinnularia spp y Encyonema minutum. Se realizó
la correlación de Pearson entre especies de diatomeas con los factores físicos
(Temperatura, pH, salinidad) de la estación A y B durante los cinco meses de muestreos
con relación a la temperatura se obtuvo un rango de -0.605 con una correlación negativa
moderada, el pH un coeficiente de 0.306 una correlación positiva moderada y un rango
de salinidad un coeficiente de -0.766 que indica una correlación negativa fuerte.
