dc.description.abstract Currently in our society, it is important the use of English language because education is changing fastly. Nowadays, it is necessary to read English books because reading enriches knowledge and the students improve their vocabulary and the fluency in the reading. Moreover the use of techniques and methods is an important factor in the education, because the students learn to pronounce difficult words, getting good writing through reading. This research paper is for encouraging students of Eighth year at Unidad Educativa Santa Rosa catch the interest for learning English and develops their creativity through interactive reading activities, and the use of strategies of learning. To apply the activity in the English reading, material is present to help the students have a relationship with the content and the development of the activity. es_ES
