university instructors at Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena. It explored how exposure to linguistic diversity enhances student learning experiences, the integration of digital resources, and the pivotal role of educators in this process. Employing a qualitative research approach, specifically a phenomenological study, the research delved into the perspectives and experiences of teachers and students regarding the incorporation of diverse linguistic contexts in listening exercises. The findings underscored the significance of including sociolinguistic diversity in instructional materials to prepare students for real-world communication and cultural engagement. Through the use of authentic digital resources and diverse linguistic inputs, instructors created a more inclusive and effective learning environment. The study emphasized the importance of teacher training in selecting and utilizing these resources to optimize educational outcomes and promote cultural diversity
