Abstract
This study explores the effectiveness of the kinesthetic approach in developing English listening skills among preschoolers. Recognizing that young learners acquire language best through active, sensory-based experiences, the research focuses on integrating movement, gestures, songs, and interactive games into English lessons. Using a qualitative methodology, classroom observations and teacher interviews were conducted to assess engagement levels, comprehension, and response to auditory input. Results indicate that kinesthetic activities significantly enhance children’s ability to understand and retain spoken English, as physical movement reinforces meaning and attention. Furthermore, the approach promotes motivation, participation, and a positive emotional connection with learning. The findings suggest that incorporating kinesthetic strategies in early English education not only strengthens listening skills but also supports holistic language development by aligning physical activity with cognitive processes. This approach proves especially effective in maintaining focus and enthusiasm among preschool learners.
