This paper reviews recent studies on the Elllo free website app within the past five years, aiming to enhance our understanding of its role in improving listening skills among language learners. It addresses challenges and opportunities in acquiring a foreign language, specifically focusing on Ecuador's education system and the importance of language skills. The paper examines the distinction between spoken and written words by honing in on fundamental listening skills. Elllo emerges as a dynamic solution, providing engaging content that boosts language proficiency. Integrating technology, such as Elllo, facilitates independent practice and skill development, catering to diverse learner needs.
